Welcome to Youth Cheer!
What is Youth Cheer?
Youth Cheerleading 4th-6th
Our 4th through 6th graders will cheer on our 4th - 6th grade football team at Parrott Academy home games!

4th - 6th graders will participate in a kick-off camp, much like our JV and Varsity girls, the week prior to the Mini Cheer Camp week. Here, they will learn a separate curriculum of cheers, chants, dances, and stunts to perform at the home games. (Can't make it to Youth Cheer Camp? - No Problem! Just register for mini cheer and come during Mini Cheer and a JV or Varsity cheerleader will work with your youth cheerleader to get her caught up to speed with all she missed during the Youth Camp.)

What is the difference between Mini Cheer and JJV Cheer? JJV cheerleaders will be mirroring the JV and Varsity girls in many aspects to prepare them for what our sport is like in the JV and Varsity level. They will learn and practice their own stunting techniques, tumbling skills, more difficult crowd response cheers, and create their own locker tags for their lockers and breakthrough banners for the games. The youth cheer team is comprised of 4th - 6th graders, with 6th grade junior captains. All of these girls will perform together during each of the Youth Football home games.
They will still learn the mini cheer curriculum and are still invited to dance and cheer on Mini Cheer night, but they will also have their own games(2), practices (2), and pep-rally routine.
